A taut and twisty '80s crime drama from writer/director Jess Franco? The second of his two filmed-in-Spain-but-with-Bangkok-exteriors productions is seriously fun and full of surprises: When a teenage heiress is kidnapped from her boyfriend's yacht, it will pull the trigger on a lethal spree of evil playboys, kung fu killers, beauty salon torture devices, the hard-boiled private eye known only as Panama Joe and a deliciously ferocious Lina Romay as the ruthless mastermind behind it all.
