synopsis
Deep in a tropical jungle, a team of scientists has unearthed the bones of an ancient creature, buried in the ruins of a forgotten civilization. Led by the gifted but unorthodox Dr. Karl Wessinger (Jürgen Prochnow), the team has discovered a way to remove strands of DNA from the bones of the fossil. Now all they need to reanimate the creature and bring to life the find of the century is a compatible enzyme, but only one person holds that key... 1996.
