synopsis
Filmed in 1989 at Fender’s Ballroom in Long Beach, California, this previously unreleased GWAR concert captures the legendary group in all its blood-soaked glory. Originally recorded for Stuart S. Shapiro’s Gorgon Video Magazine, the full concert is presented exclusively on Night Flight Plus, directly from the original Betacam SP master tapes and preserved without alteration. You can smell the sweat and taste the fake blood. This special release is dedicated to the memory of GWAR co-founder Chuck Varga, aka the Sexecutioner (1960–2026), and was made possible in collaboration with his widow, Bambi, who will receive royalties from the film in perpetuity.
